The growing demand for heightened security, particularly at high profile locations such as Parliament Buildings, Embassies, Royal Residences and Airports has resulted in our expertise being applied to the design, supply and installation of complex blast proof screens to meet the most exacting specifications.

Using traditional materials we can provide either timber screens clad in the full range of metal finishes or entirely metal framed screens, both capable of incorporating inward and outward opening windows and doors.

Outward opening windows feature specialist ironmongery purpose designed to restrict opening but ensure the window slams shut under blast conditions. Blast proofing is achieved by transferring the blast load into the structure through a steel support framework and specialist fixing anchors.

Glazing integrity is maintained by using double glazed units having a toughened outer pane and laminated inner pane, all structurally bonded into stainless steel reinforced glazing rebates.
