The scope of works primarily involved the design, manufacture and installation on numerous stylish entrances, glazed shopfronts and screens, and glazed curtain walling systems, principally utilising Kawneer 1202s structurally bonded curtain wall system with clear double glazing, along with the provision of secondary steelwork including horizontal steel wind beams suspended from the structural soffit with an arrangement of stainless steel rods.
On the North Street elevation, to deliver a striking aesthetic, we incorporated blue opaque double glazing, and to achieve an equally eye-catching appearance the Central Space elevation was constructed from steel and Wrightstyle curtain walling, featuring a staggered transom configuration.
Our competent on-site performance in consistently both meeting deadlines and the stringent quality demanded, was recognised and rewarded with a status promotion to that of a Key Sub-contractor, following which, the already expansive scope of works was further increased when we were commissioned to design, manufacture and install three additional glazed canopies and a Pilkington Planar™ glazed screen to a proposed restaurant screen positioned at a focal point of the development on the First Floor, which also included a stainless steel perimeter frame.
